I thought I’d give a little update on what is happening with our adoption. I cannot remember whether or not I mentioned that one of the directors for our agency was in America having her baby for almost two months, I believe. While she was away, IBESR was not allowing the other director or any other staff from our agency to pick up files. Everyone with our agency were anxious for her return and were hoping that good news awaited many of us. I’d like to tell you about our sweet baby Ruth. About two months after we started Georgia’s adoption paperwork, we decided to add another child from Haiti to our family. We were given the referral for a little girl born in January of 2005 and we named her Ruth. Had she lived, she would have turned one year old this month.

Our adoption coordinator and a group of adoptive parents traveled to Haiti on January 11th. They returned home last week on the 18th with heavy hearts, adorable photos, and great travel stories.
