Welcome to the Haiti Adoption Blog! My name is Wendy. My husband and I are the proud parents of six wonderful children; with two more in the works. We started our adoption journey in November of 1995, after I had suffered my third miscarriage. We welcomed our first child, a baby girl from Viet Nam, in May of 1996. She was the joy of our lives. We knew we wanted her to have a sibling that shared her racial heritage. We adopted our baby son, also from Viet Nam, in July of 1999. When our son was five years old, we welcomed another baby girl into our family in November of 2003. She was our first and only domestic (USA) adoption, as well as our first and only newborn.
